The March-April 2013 issue of Scouting magazine declared our own Camp Sequoyah as a “Cool Camp.” The article highlights the different lake activities, conservation projects, merit badges and obstacle courses at the camp. The picture shows the Sequoyah Sidewinder high speed waterslide.
Those of us in the Greater Alabama Council already know that this is a Cool Camp. What makes it special is that the first weekend of Wood Badge S9-113 will be held at Camp Sequoyah starting September 12.
Sign up for S9-113 and see for yourself how cool this camp is. Unfortunately you won’t be able to take a ride on the Sidewinder but don’t let that stop you. There will be plenty of cool things to entertain and challenge you.
